I went on a trip to Disneyland, Anaheim (LA) last year with my boyfriend and his family. I'm sorry that I don't remember which hotel I stayed in and what room number it was. I remember it being on the first floor and it was one of those cheap scary looking hotels (the ones you see in the movies where people often get murdered). I shared my room with my boyfriend and his 4 year old son. On the side of the door was another room and that's where his mother, brother, and sister slept.

The first night, his mom moved around the furniture in our room and moved our couch into her room as if the fridge in her room wasn't enough. Both rooms had two beds. Later that night I decided to sleep in my own bed while my boyfriend slept in the other bed with his son. I didn't know why but I did. At around 3 AM when everyone else was sound asleep, I was awoken by a strange and creepy sound. Till this day I still can't explain the sound I heard but it sounded like a women or girl laughing evilish, crying and moaning all together at once (almost sounded like ET from that alien movie). The noise was loud and it came from directly in front of my bed in the middle of our room and it faded. My boyfriend moved a little in his sleep and his son was still asleep so I knew the noise didn't come from them. I got up to use the bathroom. I sat directly on the floor where the noise was to get earplugs from my purse and fell back asleep in my bed.

The next night my boyfriend told me he heard the noise that night too and his brother kept hearing the bathroom door unlock and lock and open through out the night. Me and my boyfriend and his son slept together in the same bed I slept in the first night. Early morning around 5 or 6 I woke up to the bed shaking left and right. It literally lifted off the floor. I was so scared that I clung to my boyfriend and tried to go to sleep. I don't know why I didn't wake my boyfriend but I finally fell asleep. No one believes that the bed shook. I will never go back.

I have had several experiences throughout the years, but the ones that I will publish here are the ones that stand out to me the most.

Last summer when I was 14 I used to sneak out of my house a lot. I would meet my friends at the park and we would go about town doing stupid teenager stuff. Well anyways one night, I was the first to arrive at the park. It was very dark because of the trees but there was moonlight. The park is surrounded by a number of acres of native gardens and an elementary school on the other side of the street. I was standing by the entrance when I heard screeches and what sounded like the cries of a baby coming from the forested area of the native gardens. This really started to scare me but then my friends showed up. They told me they heard these noises too when they were coming from the rear entrance so they started running across the grass instead of going around. We were crossing through the park again on our way to the street when we heard the screeching yet again and it sounded a lot closer this time. We ran out to the street and did not look back.

Another time we snuck out, I picked up a friend to come with me. This time our other friends did not meet us in the park because of the last encounter. Me and my friend were walking on one of the trails when we heard someone's voice coming from the middle of the park. We stopped and listened, and we could hear the voice clearly. It was a woman's voice. I thought it might have been just a woman talking on her cell phone, but then again, who sits in the park at 1am to make a phone call? This was very creepy because there was a lot of moonlight and I couldn't see anyone in the area where her voice was coming from. Also on the way back we decided to check if she was still there, but she wasnt. In the other story above I mentioned an elementary school on the other side of the street. On the play ground there is a slide with two lanes and its partially covered at the top. When we were walking on the trail I noticed some small flashing lights coming from the opening in the slide. I was telling myself that there is no way I was seeing that.

Could it be that there is something there? I remember as a kid hearing that people have died on the playground in the park. And I used to go to that elementary school as a kid. In third grade a group of girls went in the bathroom and found an old chain engraved with "HELP ME" behind one of the toilets in the stalls. The girls had to stay with the principle to give their story and they closed off the bathroom to everyone else for a few days.

Sometime around early 2014, my sister and her family moved to their third house in California. I've always felt comfortable no matter where she lived. The city that they moved to had a good number of gated communities, extremely courteous people, beaches, and incredibly beautiful nature trails that could go for miles. It was like living inside a bubble. At the first sign of graffiti and not-so-happy looking people, you'll definitely know when you've reached the city's boundaries. This new house didn't seem any different from any of my sister's previous houses. I guess I was wrong.

During my first night in her new house, I slept in my nephew's room. I had trouble sleeping and felt like someone was watching me, whatever it was seemed to be standing between the space at the foot of the bed and the doorway. I didn't think much about it at that time. Eventually, I grew tired and finally dozed off.

The next few days of my visit went by quietly. I was home alone at one time, because everyone was either at school or at work. I was up and about doing a few chores here and there. As I headed upstairs, I stopped midway and randomly thought about a little boy. Who was he? I had no idea. What did I think of it? It was just simply my imagination of course. Sometime during the day I broke one of my sister's plates. I also kept noticing that the toilet seats were always moist, and sounded like they were flushing at random times during the day and night. Of course, I thought that I was just a total klutz, and that there was just something wrong with the toilets.

Later that night, I was downstairs working at a desk that faced a small window, with a view of the backyard. If it wasn't for the moonlight, it would have probably been pitch black. As I looked up from the desk to look outside, I saw a child's figure casually walking in the backyard. The figure was about the size of my 11 year old nephew, so I assumed that it was him going around the backyard after taking the trash out. I was startled to find out that neither my niece nor my nephew were downstairs. They were both in their rooms getting ready for bed.

That same night, I couldn't sleep and wanted to go downstairs to watch TV in the living room. As I was heading there, I stopped under the archway leading to the living room. I froze. For some reason I couldn't get myself to go any further. I couldn't determine why, but I felt as if the living room was off-limits. It wasn't menacing or anything. The vibe coming from the living room felt as if someone was really upset and wanted to be alone. I wasn't sure if I felt scared or just really uncomfortable. So I turned around and went back upstairs to bed.

A year later (2013), my sister moved to her fourth house in the same neighborhood, one street over. This house definitely felt a lot more welcoming.

It was around 6:00 p.m., my sister, 8 year old niece, and I were in the car on the way home. We spotted a lady walking toward the house. The lady was actually an acquaintance of my sister. After getting out of the car, my sister approached the lady and invited her in for coffee. Not wanting to eavesdrop on their conversation, I went upstairs with my niece to her room. My niece told me that the lady was the new occupant of the previous house my sister lived in (let's call it "3rd house" since that was my sister's 3rd house).

As I headed back downstairs, I overheard some of their conversation. "Do you know if that house is haunted? Have you experienced anything during your time there?" the lady asked my sister. "Actually yeah, it always felt like I was being followed around, and every single person in the house has broken something like dishes, and cups. There was a time when my husband was putting away dishes, and a plate split perfectly in half when he barely even touched it." said my sister. The lady went pale. "Did the toilet seats happen to be always moist and flush by themselves?" she asked. My sister nodded, "Mm hmm, and the first time my husband went into one of the rooms he said that he felt something evil." After hearing their conversation, it occurred to me that I have experienced everything that they were talking about, which sent chills down my spine. The lady left around 7:30 p.m

My sister discovered from one of the neighbors that there was a boy who committed suicide. The weird thing is that the tragedy didn't happen in the "3rd house". The deceased boy actually lived next door and jumped from his bedroom window on the second floor. He was a close friend of the boy who previously (before my sister) lived in "3rd house", and often came over to hang out. It was said that the boy found comfort in being around the previous family of 3rd house, because he wanted to escape the tension between his family at home.

Since childhood, I always believed in the paranormal. If you have read my first story I guess I can say that I am in some way sensitive to spirits. My sister never really believed me whenever I told her about any paranormal or strange occurrences I have encountered. It wasn't until she moved into her 3rd house that she really started believing. She even called psychics/mediums or "ghost busters" (it's what my niece calls them), who walked around the house with incense while reciting some kind of prayer or incantation.

I guess even after death he continued to find comfort in 3rd house. The mediums said that the boy was following my sister around, because he was seeking the motherly affection that he was deprived of during his life.

The lady who moved into 3rd house after my sister has moved out as well. Now there is a new family living there.

I'm thirty five years old and I'm writing my story to share it with everyone and to find out if anyone has had the same experience as I have had.

To start with a bit of a history I grew up in Monterey, CA and moved on to several cities between 1978 to 1981. My family finally decided to settle to live in Hollister, CA in 1982. As some of you might know Hollister, CA was a very small town during the early 80's.

We lived in an old Victorian house. It was creepy yes, but this house was only a one storey house. We had heard stories that someone had committed suicide in what was the attic. Stories of the sort were very quickly dismissed. I'm very easily scared and I do not just dismiss stories like that. Take in account that I was a child in the 80's but I feel as though I've always been sensitive and attracted to the paranormal.

My family and I lived in that old Victorian house for a total of seven years and I can recount off hand about 15 to 20 experiences that I had with the paranormal in that house. Other members of my family also experienced many things in that house that for some reason we did not want to believe. We finally moved back to the Monterey Peninsula in 1987.

Now, the particular story I want to relay is that of what happened to my two sisters and myself at an apartment we moved in when we were in our 20's. That particular apartment that we were moving into was pretty much left in shambles. The living room walls had holes in them in several places like if someone had punched their fist through it. The carpet had what looked like a burnt mark in the middle of the living room. I didn't get the best feeling when my sister's friend showed us this apartment and told us that the apartment owners would be renovating it to livable conditions so we could move in.

Once we came back the apartment was in beautiful conditions. It had pretty much new everything...well, with the exception of the 70's looking kitchen. Anyway, about a month went by and we were all moved in. My two sisters and I were pretty much sharing this one bedroom apartment that worked for us. The room upstairs was a good size. We took turns sharing the queen bed while the other slept on the floor. We were still in the process of buying furniture and we were in much need of a couple new or semi used beds.

Living in our apartment was exciting for us. We came and went to school and work. We'd come back from our day's ventures and then we'd settle in for the night. It took us a bit to fall asleep each night because there was a family next door that had a young child or baby who would cry like if he was being hurt by someone or something.

It was a terrified type of crying. I can't really explain it but we'd hear the parent come in and try to calm the baby down. We didn't think much of it but this would happen nightly. One night it bothered me so much that I told my sister that if someone was hurting this baby I'd go to the cops and call CPS on the family. I was not joking! The baby's cries were so haunting! It definitely left me feeling uneasy every night.

The following night it happened again to no surprise. I told my sister this is it I'm going to report this family to CPS and I'm going to file a report. I told my sister that she should say a small prayer out loud as to help us sleep and I asked my sister to please include this baby in her prayer.

It was my turn to sleep on the bed. Yes, two of us slept in the bed. My other sister was on the floor since it was her turn to sleep on the floor. My other sister started the prayer. The following is an out take of what I remember she said in her prayer.

"God, we come to you tonight to thank you for this day you've given us. We ask that you keep us safe this evening and we are able to have a productive day tomorrow. We also come to you and ask that you please help this child next door to us that cry's all night. We hope no one is hurting it in any way. Please be with him tonight and...

...Right then and there all three of us felt something LARGE come in the room. My sister stopped praying and my other sister jumped in bed with us. I asked them, "Do you feel that, do you feel what feels as a heaviness or thickness in the room? They both said yes. We were terrified! We laid there frozen and afraid to move. The entity felt LARGE! We felt it move through the room into the other neighbors apartment.

I asked my sister to please continue praying and she did. We felt at ease after she was done with the prayer. We felt a calm come upon us. Then I asked my sisters... Do you notice something? They said no and I told them..."the baby is no longer crying" I told them that we should continue to pray out loud every night from now on. They agreed. Soon after that we found another apartment and moved from there. It was the best thing we did!

Well, I hope someone else can share with me what might be a similar experience. To this day my sisters don't like talking about what happened that night because not talking about it makes them feel as if it never did. I just want to feel as though I'm not alone out here.

I guess I'll start by saying that I'm currently eighteen years old and I no longer live in the house I experienced things in. The first experience that I ever had was when I was about six years old, in a brand new house my parents just had built. I had just gotten my own bedroom after having shared one with my sister, as you can imagine the six year old me was extremely excited. My room was next to my sisters and across of my parents bedroom and I always slept with my door open.

For the first few months everything was ordinary and then I started having trouble sleeping. I would experience vivid nightmares about walking through hallways where disembodied hands would reach out for me, trying to grab me. Shortly after that I began to hear three knocks on my wall every night, like someone wanted to come in. As a kid, this terrified the living Hell out of me. I went to my parents every night about it and every night they said I was imagining things and proceed to get angry with me for waking them up.

Eventually I gave up on telling them and would sneak into my sister's room to sleep next to her. Every night that I slept in my sister's room nothing would happen. My parents found out and of course, made me sleep in my own bedroom. The knocking started again, sometimes before I had even fallen asleep and sometimes it would wake me up.

One day, after a huge fight with my sister about her taking my toys from my bedroom, I put a sign on my door that said "Keep Out! Big Sisters Only." or something to that affect. Later that night, I heard the knocking as usual - this was one of the times I had yet to fall asleep - but this time I saw an arm reach around and pull the note down. You can imagine the terror I felt at that point, but I thought it might have been my dad (it was a man's arm), so I got up to investigate. I could hear both my parents sleeping in their bedroom and my sister was fast asleep in her own room (which I stayed in for the rest of the night, too afraid to return to my own.). After that, I don't remember much happening. The knocking had stopped for a while.

A few years later, when I had finally felt safe enough to sleep in my room without fear, stranger things began to happen, and I honestly think I would have taken the knocking over what began to happen. I would hear my name being called in the middle of the night and I started seeing a shadow figure stand in my doorway, never entering and always leaving shortly after he appeared. Looking at him, I was absolutely terrified. Thinking about it now still gives me the creeps.

Then, in the last months we were leaving at the house, I had the scariest - and probably strangest - experience I believe I've ever had. Through my bedroom window I saw a silvery light, at first I believed it was the neighbors light on, on their side yard, but then a ball of the same glowing light floated through my window and into my room. It was beautiful, but the feelings it gave me were worse than I had felt even looking at the shadow man. This happened when I was about twelve.

Recently I found out that my sister had had an experience of her own, though it was so different than mine. She would see the figure of a girl sitting on her bed playing with her favorite stuffed animal. The girl had actually spoken to her saying "Will you play with me? Come play with me." But the way my sister talks about is as if it's a positive experience, or like it's an old friend.

My friend drove by that house a few weeks ago (she was curious about it after I had told her all this), and she told me that she had gotten a really negative feeling just going past it.

Soo, I guess that's really all I can say for now. I have had a few other experiences in my life, though not connected to this house in particular. My question is... Why would this be happening in a brand new house? Why was what my sister experienced so vastly different from what I did? I don't know as much about the paranormal as I'd, admittedly, like to.

If it matters, I am Christian but I am totally open to hearing whatever it is you'd like to tell me.
